Maserati Quattroporte

The name Quattroporte was first used in 1963. After a long break, the large 4-door sedan returned. The fifth generation of this model was shown at the Frankfurt/Main Motor Show, now with a body designed by the famous Italian firm Pininfarina. Its engine is located behind the front axle, and the gearbox in front of the rear, largely improving the mass distribution of the vehicle. The transmission is controlled electro-hydraulically, but the driver may choose to manually shift gears with small levers located on the steering wheel. The car is equipped with a 4.2-liter 400 hp V8 engine, which enables the vehicle to reach a top speed of 275 km/h. There are fifteen colors for the body to choose from, and its luxurious interior may be finished with three types of wood and ten types of leather. On the European market, this model is regarded as an exclusive limousine with sport ambitions. Price: from EUR 100,000.
